Sandrine Holt is the daughter of Sandrine Ho, who was born in London on 19 November 1972. She is a daughter of Chinese as well as French parents. At the age of five the family relocated from China to Canada. Models from Paris were catwalk models prior to her beginning a career as an actor. In the 1991 film Black Robe, she made her film debut as Annuka. She was nominated as a Canadian Oscar nominee for this part. The movies Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed with guest appearances on Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. In John Woo s The Thief she was an integral part of the series for 22 episodes. In 2004, the film Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was released, and can be seen only on DVDVHS and Resident Evil Apocalypse was released. Holt was offered a bigger part in the series 24: Twenty Four, and Runaway. Holt was a guest on a couple of appearances in series and then smaller parts in film. The actress landed a leading part on the film Hostages (2013) as well as played a supporting character in Netflix's House of Cards. The year 2015 saw her portrayed Julie Han in The Returned's US remake. She was cast as Bethany Exner, Dr. Bethany Exner.
